In the New Jersey General Assembly, Assemblyman Singh:
- Voted to preserve funding for Rutgers University’s Gun Violence Research Center, which has conducted and supported dozens of studies that help gun violence prevention advocates and policymakers better understand the contours of this public health crisis and its solutions.
- Was a sponsor for A5323, legislation that notifies police when a prohibited purchaser attempts to buy a firearm
- Supports bills to require secure gun storage and ensure the state procures firearms from responsible dealers.
