Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, a U.S. Air Force veteran, has proven that she understands sacrifice, partnership, and the responsibility required to handle a firearm.
During her time in Congress, she has worked tirelessly on behalf of her constituents and worked across the aisle with other lawmakers to address gun violence in their districts and across our country.
While a member of the Congressional Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, Rep. Houlahan has fought to expand background checks, ban assault weapons, and pass Ethan’s Law, which would mandate secure firearm storage across the nation. In the wake of the Uvalde shooting, Rep. Houlahan also voted for the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first piece of national gun violence prevention legislation signed into law since the Brady Bill nearly 30 years ago.
