Growing up with a violent father who owned firearms, Rep. Debbie Dingell understands why it’s so important to curb domestic violence through gun violence prevention legislation.
In Congress, she uses her lived experiences to address the lethal connection between firearms and domestic violence, introducing the Strengthening Protections for Domestic Violence and Stalking Survivors Act and the Zero Tolerance for Domestic Abusers Act.
