Rep. Janelle Bynum has proved her commitment to protecting Oregon’s communities from gun violence.
During her time in the Oregon State Legislature, she worked to pass numerous measures to keep her constituents safe, including bills to regulate untraceable ghost guns, disarm domestic abusers, and incentivize gun owners to securely store their firearms.

In the state legislature, I've been a fighter for common-sense gun safety measures, and I'm proud of my F rating from the NRA. In Congress, I'm determined to continue taking decisive action to keep these automatic weapons out of our communities and save lives across Oregon.
Rep. Bynum has a proven track record of working against gun violence. In the 119th Congress, she cosponsored the Bipartisan Background Checks Act (H.R. 18), which would require a background check for every firearm sale or transfer.
