Throughout his career, Rep. Jared Moskowitz has advocated for protecting families in Florida and across the nation.
In the Florida House of Representatives, he drafted legislation that implemented extreme risk protection orders, raised the minimum age to purchase a firearm, and instituted waiting periods for the transfer of firearms.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz said:
As a graduate of MSD High School in Parkland, I came to Congress to prevent senseless gun violence. I look forward to working with my colleagues to keep communities safe and protect our democratic values.
In Congress, Rep. Moskowitz holds the position of vice chair of the U.S. House of Representatives Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, continuing his gun violence prevention work in the Florida State Legislature. In the 119th Congress, he sponsored the 3D Printed Gun Safety Act of 2025 (H.R. 4143), which prohibits the online distribution of 3D-printed firearm plans, helping to crack down on the ghost gun market.
The Brady Campaign is proud to endorse Jared Moskowitz for re-election to represent Florida’s 23rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
