Delegate Jeion Ward has been a member of the Virginia House of Delegates since 2004, and she has been a strong supporter of gun safety.
She is passionate about making Virginia a safer place for all and has introduced many gun violence prevention bills throughout her time as a delegate.
During her legislative career, Delegate Ward has supported bills to:
- Require universal Brady Background Checks
- Improve and invest in implementation of extreme risk laws, which temporarily remove firearms from a person in crisis
- Ban assault weapons and large-capacity magazines
