Rep. Joe Neguse has seen the devastating impact of gun violence on Colorado communities.

When the Columbine shooting happened, he was a student on lockdown at a high school 10 miles away, and in 2021, a mass shooting occurred in his own congressional district, taking the lives of 10 people.

As Vice Chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, Rep. Neguse has been a leader in this movement — cosponsoring legislation to expand Brady Background Checks, ban assault weapons on a national level, and mandate secure firearm storage. He knows that inaction is not an option in the face of this epidemic.

Rep. Neguse said:

It’s long past time we confront this crisis with the urgency it requires, ensuring that we are investing in every solution at our disposal to reduce incidents of gun violence, protecting our kids and our families, and building safer communities.

The Brady Campaign is proud to endorse Rep. Joe Neguse for reelection to represent Colorado's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
