Rep. Josh Riley understands that we need solutions to the epidemic of gun violence now. After the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Rep. Riley helped to craft common-sense legislation to keep communities safe and prevent future mass tragedies. He believes that we have the ability to protect public safety while honoring law-abiding gun owners’ Second Amendment rights.
In Congress, Rep. Riley has fought for stronger background checks, keeping guns out of schools, banning assault weapons, and protecting survivors of domestic violence by prohibiting domestic abusers from accessing weapons.
