As an original member of Team ENOUGH, Brady’s youth-led initiative, Matt Post has been a longtime champion of gun violence prevention.
Born and raised in Maryland’s District 14, Post understands the needs of his community and what it will take to keep them safe. Once elected, Post wants to fund hospital-based support for survivors of gun violence, ban firearm suppressors, tax gun companies for every shooting their products enable, and more.

Post pledges to help change the laws, change the culture, and change the industry of firearms in Maryland. He wants Maryland to become a leader in gun violence prevention so all Marylanders can go to work, or school, or anywhere, free from the fear of gun violence. He knows it won’t be easy, but he is ready to go toe to toe with the gun industry to fight for this future.
