Gun violence prevention is a top priority for Mike McGuire.
Born and raised in Northern California, he’s running to represent California’s 1st congressional district to stand up to the Trump administration and the gun lobby to protect Californians.
McGuire said:

While in the state senate, McGuire helped shepherd key gun violence prevention legislation across the finish line, like legislation making firearm theft a felony. Now in Congress, he will work to take federal action to ban assault weapons, expand Brady Background Checks, and more.
