As the youngest member ever elected to the Virginia General Assembly, Delegate Nadarius Clark brings the urgent perspective of ‘Generation Lockdown’ to Virginia.
He represents an entire generation that has grown up with gun violence in their daily lives. Delegate Clark serves as chair of the House Public Safety Firearms Subcommittee, where he has been a vocal leader in advancing gun violence prevention policies that save lives.
While serving as a Virginia State Delegate, Nadarius Clark co-authored legislation to:
- Bolster secure firearm storage, especially when minors are present
- Establish the Firearm Violence Intervention and Prevention Center
- Ban assault weapons and large-capacity magazines
Delegate Clark said:
For the last four years, Governor Youngkin has stood in the way of progress on public safety while gun violence remains the number one killer of kids and teens in America. My colleagues and I have passed countless bills to make our communities safer, only for them to be vetoed — in 2025, let’s change that by maintaining our majority.
