Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie is committed to fighting for common-sense gun safety legislation and upholding the nation-leading safeguards in New Jersey.
She knows that data-driven gun violence prevention solutions must include prevention, education, and trauma recovery. Assemblywoman Bagolie will fight for these solutions in the General Assembly for her District and all New Jerseyans.
As an Assemblywoman, she has introduced:
- A2945, which establishes the crime of possessing firearms during a public demonstration
- A4979, which requires law enforcement officers to complete training regarding the identification of deadly machine gun conversion devices
- A5443, which imposes criminal liability on persons who allow minors to access firearms used to commit crimes
