Brady Campaign Endorses Rep. Brendan Boyle for Re-Election

Washington D.C., July 16, 2020 - Today, the Brady Campaign is proud to endorse Representative Brendan Boyle (PA-02) in his bid for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020.

Brady Campaign President Kris Brown shared:

“Since his first campaign for the state legislature, Rep. Boyle has championed gun violence prevention throughout his career in public office. In Congress, Rep. Boyle has served as an active member of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and has supported vital gun safety policies such as H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, H.R. 1236, the Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2019, and H.R. 1296, the Assault Weapons Ban of 2019. Rep. Boyle, embodying Brady’s motto to take action, not sides, also worked with a bipartisan group of Members to introduce H.R. 4926, the Prevent Family Fire Act, to incentivize the sale of safe storage devices across the nation. Brady is proud to endorse Rep. Brendan Boyle for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.”

Rep. Brendan Boyle shared,

"I'm proud to receive the endorsement of the Brady Campaign as I work to continue to represent Philadelphia in Congress. In too many cities and towns across our country, the scourge of gun violence continues to claim innocent lives. I’m honored to stand with Brady as we continue to work together to push for common sense legislation to end the tragic cycle of gun violence across our country."

Rep. Boyle has made public safety a main issue of his terms in Congress. We are confident that he will continue to work to make the United States a safer place for generations to come. Once again, Brady is proud to endorse Rep. Brendan Boyle for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
