Washington D.C., July 6, 2020 - Today, the Brady Campaign endorses Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) in his campaign for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020.
Brady Campaign President Kris Brown said:
“Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. is a longstanding champion of the gun violence prevention movement and has worked tirelessly to protect our children and communities. From supporting the establishment of the Brady Background Check system in his earliest days in Congress, to supporting the expansion of universal background checks with H.R. 8, Rep. Pallone understands the importance of comprehensive gun safety reform. Rep. Pallone knows that strong gun laws save lives, and represents a constituency that has benefited from strong state action. He also knows that without strong federal laws it's hard to keep our communities fully safe -- in New Jersey, 87 percent of guns used in crimes come from out of state. Brady is proud to endorse Rep. Frank Pallone for re-election.”
