Brady Campaign Endorses Dr. Cameron Webb for Election to the U.S. House of Representatives

Washington, D.C., September 30, 2020 - Today, the Brady Campaign endorsed Dr. Cameron Webb in his campaign for election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Brady Campaign President Kris Brown shared:

“As a practicing physician, Dr. Cameron Webb understands gun violence and knows what we need to do to improve public health and safety in America. Having worked on President Obama’s Health Care Team, he understands that gun violence is a national, public health emergency. Dr. Webb supports common-sense policies such as universal background checks, funding for gun violence research, and extreme risk protection laws - all of which will save lives from preventable gun death and injury. We need his informed leadership in Congress. Brady is proud to endorse Dr. Cameron Webb for election to the U.S. House of Representatives.”

Dr. Cameron Webb shared:

"As a physician, I know from experience that gun violence is a public health crisis in this country and I’m proud to have the Brady Campaign’s support. I look forward to working with them to pursue common sense and evidence-based policies to reduce gun violence that will protect the American people without infringing on the rights of responsible, law-abiding gun owners.”

Brady has one powerful mission — to unite all Americans against gun violence. We work across Congress, the courts, and our communities with over 90 grassroots chapters, bringing together young and old, red and blue, and every shade of color to find common ground in common sense. In the spirit of our namesakes Jim and Sarah Brady, we have fought for over 45 years to take action, not sides, and we will not stop until this epidemic ends. It’s in our hands.
