As the Brady Campaign prepares for 2026 midterms, every candidate running statewide in VA and NJ, for the VA House of Delegates, and for the NJ State Assembly in 2025 endorsed by Brady Campaign won
WASHINGTON, D.C., November 7, 2025 — Following the tabulation of results from the November 4, 2025, elections, every candidate endorsed by Brady Campaign in New Jersey and Virginia ultimately won their election or re-election. These successes forcefully reject extremism, mark a historic win for safety, progress, and accountability, and chart a course for more gun safety majorities in 2026.

Voters sent a clear, undeniable message on Tuesday: they’ve had enough of extreme, reckless policies that make us all less safe. Virginians and New Jerseyans chose courage over chaos, and commonsense over fearmongering. They voted for a future where every child can live free from gun violence, and we are committed and ready to work alongside these future officeholders to translate the voters’ will into lifesaving action.
The Brady Campaign has already announced our first wave of 2026 midterm election endorsements of candidates touched closely by gun violence, and we look forward to proudly endorse and provide targeted support to additional candidates committed to solving this uniquely American epidemic.
